Dear Friends,
We are approaching the end of the year, a year in which we have been blessed with the arrival of volunteers from around the world. Our volunteers have provided an enormous amount of help to Israeli army bases located throughout the country.
The hours of work provided by our volunteers were sometimes carried out in uncomfortable locations and under less than ideal conditions. Nonetheless, our volunteers gave their help willingly, with full hearts motivated by a great desire to provide assistance to our country.
In the coming year, Sar-El will mark it's 30 year anniversary as an organization established by General Davidi. We are planning to mark the occasion with a convention during the month of August, 2012 (on condition that our budget will allow for this). All Sar-El volunteers who will be in the country at that time will be invited to attend.
We are also planning in the month of May, 2012, to have a meeting with all of our Sar-El representatives, as well as with the heads of all other non-profit organizations working on behalf of Sar-El. All questions about this event should be sent directly to Sar-El's Pamela Lazarus (pamela@sar-el.org) who is coordinating this event.
My good wishes for our continued success and fruitful activity. Thank you again to all of our volunteers for coming to help and continuing to care about the State of Israel.
Yours,
Israel Geva Executive General Manager
