Sar El, the American Friends of Magen David Adom (AFMDA), and Canadian Magen David Adom (CMDA) have launched a joint fundraising effort for the purchase and dedication of a new ambulance in honor of Sar-El and in memory of its founder, the late General Aharon Davidi z"l. Since 2008, hundreds of Sar El participants have visited MDA facilities and participated in important briefings. While Sar El provides thousands of volunteers to the IDF each year, AFMDA and CMDA raise money to provide ambulances and equipment, training and new EMS stations through which it carries out critical life saving work. Please join us in this unique collective effort to bring safety and security to Israel and tangibly save lives. All donations payable to "AFMDA" or "CMDA" for this campaign should be earmarked "Sar El Ambulance" in the memo of your check. They are fullytax deductible according to the regulations of the US and Canadian tax laws. US contributors: Please mail your donation to AFMDA “Sar El Ambulance,” 352 Seventh Ave., Suite 400, New York, NY 10101. You may also donate via the internet at www.afmda.org. Go to the “Donate” tab and then be sure to note that your donation is earmarked for the “Sar El Ambulance.”
You will also be able to make your donation when you are here in Israel. Ask Sar-El Program Coordinator Pamela Lazarus for details.
*In order to preserve the privacy of our donors we have stopped listing names on the website. However MDA continues to notify us about all of our donations and we are keeping an accurate internal record of the project.
