This is just to let you know my thoughts concerning my first Sarel trip. I am very pleased to be able to say that I enjoyed all aspects of my experience at Machane Ofer base. Lots of the work was in dismantling the covers over the Armored Personnel Carriers, which I found most interesting. 

It was a very positive experience in being able to liaise with the soldiers and fellow volunteers. The Madrichot were excellent (Danielle and Hadas). The field trips and the evening meetings they arranged were all very worthwhile. The food was good and plentiful. The weekend trip to the Negev that you arranged for me was also a good experience. The other weekend I stayed at the Charles Clore Soldiers House in Jerusalem - a very convenient location and such good value. 

It was a privilege and a pleasure to be able to serve Israel and the Jewish people. I look forward to being able to serve again.
