Dear Friends,
I would again like to thank all of our volunteers for participating in our programs and for all of their help. I am continually receiving positive feedback from the bases where Sar-El operates and I can say that all of our volunteers' efforts are received gratefully and with much appreciation.
A convention was recently held with all those in charge of overseeing work on the army bases. During this convention I spoke about the importance of Sar-El, among other things, and about the kind and amount of work that is carried out by Sar-El volunteers. I also emphasized that it necessary to prepare and plan out exactly what work is needed in advance so as to maximize the output of our volunteers who arrive full of motivation and a great desire to help.
During his speech towards the end of the convention the IDF's Chief Spokesperson pointed out the great contribution that Sar-El volunteers make to the army and how much they are appreciated. He added that without Sar-El's help the Israeli Army would not have been able to return so quickly to its previous state of fighting fitness – and for that he expressed his thanks. I am happy to be able to relay his encouraging message which points out the effectiveness and importance of our volunteers' contribution.
This summer we are expecting a lot of young volunteers from around the world and an especially large group from France. I would like to wish all of you a great summer and to those volunteers working with us now may your work be enjoyable and productive!
Yours,
Israel Geva Executive General Manager
