Shalom Mazal,
Thank you for teaching a great Ivrit course.
I had fun listening to the Israelis carry on
conversations in Tel Aviv.
I need to obtain material for home study of Ivrit, and
also return to Israel.
We hope you will be able to enjoy the holidays.

Dear Mazal,
One of my favorite activities
of the Sar-El experience was your class. I
still think of "Ma yesh b'sal
l'Mazal?" and I smile. My husband Harvey and I
were in your class, the end
of November, into December. I especially think
of you when I peel my oranges
the Israeli way!

Several of my Temple Emunah
members were
packing medical supplies for
Sar-El during
November and December. Just
today one
of my friends mentioned how
gratifying it
is to feel that the supplies
that were sorting
and packing are probably in
Haiti right now.
Hope all is well with you.

Shalom Mazal,
Ma shlommekh? I enjoyed very much your Hebrew classes at
the base. I had a lot of fun,
and you really brought
the Hebrew language alive.

Dear Mazal,
Hi there, here are my
pictures of you while I was trying to learn
Hebrew. Thank you for giving me the thirst to
learn Hebrew. When I
returned to South Africa I began [learning]
again. This time
from the beginning, the alphabet.
I want to return to
Israel next year but this time, better armed
with a knowledge of
Hebrew behind me.
Many
thanks,

Hi Mazal,
I want to thank you for teaching me

Hebrew at the base!

Dear Mazal,
We wanted to thank you for being a
wonderful teacher! We enjoyed your lessons very much and John said
he really made some progress. I told you that I am a hopeless case
when it comes to languages, but I was interested in all of the
information about the history and culture of Israel. Anyway, I
learned the word for my favorite drink: 'Cafe-Bots.' We also very
much enjoyed the songs you introduced us to.
Best Wishes,
Birgit and John
