Dear Friends,

In July and August of this year we had record numbers of volunteers who worked tirelessly and efficiently alongside our Israeli soldiers.  In July we had 750 volunteers and in August almost 700. The average monthly number has been about 350.

Because of the war with the Hezbollah in Lebanon, many Sar-El volunteers extended their stay in Israel. By showing their solidarity in a time of crisis, the volunteers contributed greatly towards raising morale.

Let me now take this opportunity to thank all of our volunteers, and wish everyone a Happy New Year, good health and much prosperity.
