From L.A. to Israel

 I just got back home to Los Angeles and I wanted to make sure to write to you and let you know how much I appreciated you allowing me to be one of Sar-El's volunteers.

I was looking forward to a great experience, but my time with Sar-El far outlived my expectations. Sure the north was freezing cold and the conditions were harsh, but the soldiers became my friends, the kind you care about and worry about whenever you watch the news.

The second base was easier to take, but it had something in common with the first. Most everyone was so wonderful to be with, work with and just get to know, it was incredible.

I truly believe that I have found some lifelong friends.
