From South Africa to Israel

I just wanted to thank Sar-El for organizing the program for me to go to Mishan,  the Old Age nursing home in Katamon, Jerusalem. It was such an experience for me.

To tell you the truth it was heart-wrenching. Most of the residents in Mishan are holocaust survivors and their stories are incredible. Despite their advanced years their memories of this tragic period are still so fresh in their minds. Although we had language differences, we could and did communicate. It was just amazing.

I am sure this will not be my last hospital program. Tal was an excellent madricha, so soft natured and helpful. Please give her my regards.
