Although not my first trip to Israel, the weeks I recently spent volunteering with Sar-El and interacting with soldiers and other members of the IDF has forever changed me as a person.

I had some moving personal experiences and thanks to Sar-El and (and in particular my Madricha Yarden.)  I have a new passion for the State of Israel, a new outlook on Judaism, and a new interest in Jewish history.

The program far exceeded my expectations and I did not think spending time volunteering in Israel could or would change me the way it did. I look forward to seeing you again in the near future!
