Now that I've been back home almost a week, I'm finally coming down off the "high" of the Sar-El experience.  I cannot thank you enough for the opportunity.  I've gained a priceless perspective of the IDF army soldier: life on the base, defending the country, and fellowship amongst the soldiers.                                                                                                      Above: Steve Bautista (second from left) with Sar-El friends.

I was honored with the opportunity of raising the Israeli flag one morning.  More so, I had the opportunity to meet many great soldiers and volunteers.  The madricha was patient, intelligent, and a real pleasure to work with.  Overall, the experience was educational and extremely rewarding, and I am eternally grateful!
