Contact\u00f3 con amigos en Estados Unidos, quienes reclutaron con \u00e9xito a 650 voluntarios para que fueran a Israel y salvaran los cultivos.\u00a0<\/p><p>\u00a0Este esfuerzo marc\u00f3 el inicio de Sar-El en 1983, una organizaci\u00f3n de voluntarios apol\u00edticos dedicada a apoyar a Israel. Desde entonces, m\u00e1s de 160.000 voluntarios de m\u00e1s de 30 pa\u00edses han contribuido con su tiempo y esfuerzo a las Fuerzas de Defensa de Israel (FDI), algunos incluso han decidido establecerse en Israel.
