I spent three fantastic weeks in Zahal, with a wonderful group! I was the only Italian, but it was like feeling at home. Sometimes the work was very hard and, as they told us, we were not in a hotel. But just for these reasons my experience was greater.[It] was a true experience. You live with the soldiers and you know that, in your small way, with the right attitude, you could help Israel to defend it’s own right to exist. So I’m very proud to have given my little contribution to this fantastic country.
In these days I’ve learned how much “blood” was spent behind the birth of this nation. Thank you IDF.
