Dear Sar-El applicants,
Before you start the registration process please make sure you meet the conditions of entry into Israel , as indicated on the website of the Israeli ministry of health : https://corona.health.gov.il/en/abroad/arriving-by-air/
In order to participate in the Sar-El volunteering experience, there are two mandatory stages that must be completed to further the registration process.
The entire application process can take up to 6 to 8 weeks to complete. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
Firstly, the application must fill out and submit the link provided below. After the Sar-El staff checks and approves of the provided details of the volunteer, the applicant will then receive a second email. This email will include a second link, furthering the registration process. The second stage includes the applicant complying with a Sar El waiver, sending in a picture of their passport and a medical certificate signed by your doctor.
Noted:
- Health insurance that covers COVID is mandatory
- Sar-El is operating regarding the guidelines of ministry of health and the IDF . it should be taken into account that if the morbidity increases and the Corona restrictions return there is a chance that the programs will be cancelled . please make sure that you have proper insurance that cover such a case.

Please note: SAR-EL only accepts applicants who hold a valid passport and (a visa if needed) which must be valid 6 months after their program ends.
Final program dates cannot be confirmed until volunteer has been accepted into the program.
