Dear Sar-El applicants,
Before you start the registration process please make sure you meet the conditions of entry into Israel , as indicated on the website of the Israeli ministry of health : https://corona.health.gov.il/en/abroad/arriving-by-air/
In order to participate in the Sar-El volunteering experience, there are two mandatory stages that must be completed to further the registration process.
Firstly, the application must fill out and submit the link provided below. After the Sar-El staff checks and approves of the provided details of the volunteer, the applicant will then receive a second email. This email will include a second link, furthering the registration process. The second stage includes the applicant complying with a Sar El waiver, sending in a picture of their passport, a medical certificate signed by your doctor and lastly the payment of a registration fee of 450 shekels .
The applicant will receive the stage 2 email seven business days after the first link is submitted
- Health insurance that covers COVID is mandatory
- Sar-El is operating regarding the guidelines of ministry of health and the IDF . it should be taken into account that if the morbidity increases and the Corona restrictions return there is a chance that the programs will be cancelled . please make sure that you have proper insurance that cover such a case.
