Application

Before you begin the registration process please make sure you meet the conditions of entry into Israel, as indicated on the website of the Israeli ministry of health: https://corona.health.gov.il/en/abroad/arriving-by-air/

In order to participate in the Sar-El volunteer experience, there are two mandatory stages that must be completed to further the registration process.

The entire application process can take up to 6 to 8 weeks to complete. Your patience is greatly appreciated.

First, the application must be completed and submitted to the link provided below. After the Sar-El staff reviews the application, it will go into a queue for a video interview. This gives us the chance to get to know you and to answer any questions you have regarding the program. At the next stage, the staff reviews the application and feedback from the interviewers.  If approved, then the applicant will then receive a second email with a link to documents that will need to be completed and then uploaded, including an indemnification waiver and medical approval form to be sent with a copy of the face-page of the passport.

Note: Health and travel insurance that covers you while you are on the program is mandatory

Please contact your local representative if you have additional questions regarding the application procedure. For the International Contacts page. Click here.

SAR-EL only accepts applicants who hold a valid passport and (a visa if needed) which must be valid 6 months after their program ends.

Final program dates cannot be confirmed until the volunteer has been accepted into the program.
